grey waves or lines in a vertical setting. Looks vaguely geological. I picked it because it's kind of robotic, but there's a curve to the lines that suggests an organic element.

Aha, you caught me!

Zulie Writes Staff is the nom de plume of my AI writing. For the last few months, I’ve been using ChatGPT along with other AI tools to help write content. Here are some FAQs I put together in case you have Qs.

Why did I choose to use AI writing?

You’re asking: why did I sell out? Why not continue to pour my own human blood sweat and tears into writing stuff to rank for keywords?

In short? For SEO.

Google’s search algorithm is a robot, so I feel no qualms about using a robot to help me generate the content. I personalize it with my own voice and experiences, and I add images personally. This content is around 70% AI, 30% Zulie original.

I want to continue to compete and earn money through ad revenue. I can’t do that if I manually write all my posts — everyone else is already using AI to create some truly shoddy content. I CAN use AI intelligently to bolster my competitiveness without diminishing the quality too much.

Why come clean, then?

Why not simply hide all my content under my own name and continue pretending?

I decided to separate out the authors for a few reasons.

  1. I want you to know when and how often I use AI. This is mostly vanity - AI writing is not as good as my writing, so I don’t want you to think I wrote it myself.

  2. I want you to be confident when you ARE reading something I wrote 100% myself.

  3. In case there ever comes a day when it’s necessary to distinguish between AI and human content, I’ll be there already. As AI starts to cannibalize its own shoddy content, the premium on 100% human-original writing will soar. I want to set that distinction early.
